Sweet and Tangy Vinaigrette
This simple to make vinaigrette is a great addition to any leafy green salad. It is the perfect blend of sweet and tangy while still being light.
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp dry mustard
- ⅓ cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp chopped red onion
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¾ cup olive oil
Add the salt, dry mustard, vinegar, onion and sugar to a blender or food processor and mix on high until the onion is smooth and the sugar has dissolved.
With the blender on, slowly add the olive oil and allow to mix for 2-3 minutes
Store in an air tight container in the fridge if not using immediately.
